A CD wallet from Dollar General costs $3.00 and is a great place to keep all of your software. Just remember where you keep it and make sure all family members know as well.

Maintenance Issues

 

Back up your data on a systematic basis.  The only thing worse than having a dead computer is having your data die with it. 

 

A good technique to use for data backup is burning a CD.  After you finish, put it back in the computer and make sure you can read the disk,  Then label and date it and put it in that CD wallet with your master software CD’s
